Resurrection Lutheran Church

Sunday School

Children are naturally curious. They ask wonderful questions.

• Who made the world?
• Why did God send the flood?
• How did David beat Goliath?
• Why did Jesus die?

Every question is an opportunity to share the greatest story ever told, the very true story of God's saving love for sinners through his Son, Jesus.

RLC's Sunday School ministry exists to help children discover that story. Week after week, they hear God's promises, learn the great accounts of Scripture, and begin to see how every page of the Bible points to their Savior.

When and where

Sunday School meets at both the Verona and Monroe campuses. It begins about 15 minutes after the Sunday worship service and continues until 11:15 AM.

Who it's for

Sunday School is available for children who are 3 years old and potty trained through 6th grade. If your child is not yet potty trained but you would still like them to attend, please speak with our Sunday School teacher, who will be happy to talk through what would work best for your child.

What to expect

Each Sunday School classroom has a teacher, with an assistant helping as needed. Parents are welcome to choose what works best for their family during Sunday School. You may sit in the Teen Room, spend time visiting in the Gathering Space, or attend the adult Bible Class. If your child would feel more comfortable with you nearby at first, that is perfectly fine.
