Academics

The Word of God provides the framework for everything we teach. We pair a Christ-centered education with rigorous academics, so each child's life is enriched spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

What we offer

• A rigorous, Christ-centered curriculum with above-average standardized test results at every grade level
• Daily Bible instruction, weekly chapel, memory work, and prayer
• 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 3–8 and SMART Boards in every classroom
• Gym, art, and music each week from preschool through grade 8
• A robust elective music program — Praise Choir, musicals, and plays

Learning objectives

It is our desire that through a Christ-centered education, students understand their need for a Savior and the forgiveness they have in Christ; recognize that God has uniquely blessed them and use their gifts to the best of their ability; develop good study habits, critical thinking, and problem-solving; and grow in respect and responsibility as Christian citizens.

Extracurriculars

Beyond the classroom, Westside offers organized athletics (grades 4–8) — basketball, volleyball, soccer, track, and cross country — plus Forensics, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Math Meet, Science Fair, History Fair, and Fine Arts and Art Fairs.
