About Us

What to Expect

We are real people like you, dealing with life's big questions and trying to make sense of it all. Come and see for yourself what Jesus has to say about himself. Whether you attend a Thursday or Sunday service, you will find a warm welcome and the life-changing presence of God.

Worship

Our worship services are non-traditional by purpose and uplifting in character. We encourage you to bring your struggles and lay them down at the foot of the cross and hear your Savior say, "I've got you. You are forgiven!"

  • Fresh, diversified liturgies while still holding strong to the truths of God's Word
  • Powerful music by musicians, bands, and choirs blending the best of historical and modern music
  • Lots of ways to share your talents — music, audiovisuals, readings, and more
  • A casual community building relationships, face-to-face and heart-to-heart
  • Arrive early and stay late — enjoy camaraderie and good conversation

Community

It is nearly impossible to attend a St. Andrew service without developing new or growing existing relationships. Whether you are a college student, young professional, married, single parent, or widowed — all are welcomed.

Our Faith

We are serious about faith at St. Andrew. The Bible's message is unchanging, and it speaks to the true needs of today's people. Sin, death, guilt, shame, hurt, sorrow, anxiety, grief, and doubt are faced by people in our world every day — and all of these are addressed by our holy and loving Creator in the Bible. God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to be the solution to sin. At St. Andrew, our main mission is to lead people to walk with Jesus Christ, who says, "I am the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6).

Our Affiliation

St. Andrew is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Established in 1850, the WELS is a Biblically-conservative church body passionate about and committed to outreach and children's education — the third largest Lutheran church body in the United States.

  • 1,200+ WELS congregations across North America
  • 400,000 church members
  • 370+ elementary schools, 313 early education programs, and 23 high schools
  • 100+ world missionaries and 200+ national workers sharing the gospel worldwide

Want to dig deeper into what we teach and confess? Our pastors are happy to sit down for coffee, answer questions, and walk through Scripture with you — no pressure, no commitment.

Our Story

St. Andrew began over 40 years ago when a small group of Christians met in a bank's meeting room in downtown Middleton with a passion for sharing Jesus in the Middleton area. Since 1975, St. Andrew has grown because our members continue to bring their friends and loved ones to see Jesus. We now have three services with over 450 people worshiping each Sunday.

The core of our mission's focus is Love God, Love Each Other, and Serve the World. This mission dates to the earliest days of Christianity, and we strive to live it out in our worship, our Growth Groups and children's ministries, and our community engagement.

Why "Andrew"?

Andrew was one of Jesus' first disciples. Immediately after meeting Jesus, he ran to find his brother so that he too might know and believe. Our name reflects that same desire — to reach those who don't yet know Jesus. You can read the first account of Andrew in the Bible in the Gospel of John, chapter 1.

Our School

In the mid-1990s, the members of St. Andrew began the conversation about expanding their ministries to include a Christian day school. After several years of exploration, planning, and development, Westside Christian School opened its doors in 2001 and is accredited by WELSSA, NCPSA, and WRISA.
